Connect your Google Calendar

merme signs you in with Google and asks for read-only access to your calendar. That access is how merme finds meetings with a Google Meet link and joins them at the right time.

What the Calendar permission is used for: reading your upcoming events — title, time, attendees and the Meet link. merme never edits your calendar, never reads event contents beyond what it needs to decide whether to join, and stores only the events that have a Meet link.

How the bot joins a meeting

About a minute before a scheduled Meet where you are a Host, merme joins as a visible participant named “merme notetaker”. It is muted, camera off, and listed among the participants so everyone on the call can see the meeting is being recorded. Hosts are responsible for informing participants, as local law requires.

• Exclude a single meeting with the switch on the Meetings screen.
• Turn auto-join for 1:1 calls on or off in workspace settings (admins).
• Paste a Meet link to have merme join a call that is not on your calendar (“Join now”).

Reading and sharing notes

Notes arrive shortly after the call ends: agenda, key topics, action items with owners, and a summary — in the meeting's language. The Host whose bot joined owns the notes.

Hosts can share with a colleague by email, with the whole workspace, or with a sign-in link or a public link that expires after 7, 30 or 90 days. Export downloads the notes as Markdown.

Hours and billing

Every new workspace starts with 5 free hours. Hours are consumed by the time the bot spends in meetings and never expire. Prepaid packages: 10 hours for 50 ₾, 100 hours for 400 ₾, 500 hours for 1500 ₾ — bought once, no subscription.

Removing merme's access and deleting your data

You can switch merme off at any time, in three independent ways:

• Disconnect Google: open your Google Account → Security → “Third-party apps & services” → merme → Remove access. merme stops syncing your calendar immediately.
• Sign out in the app; signing back in asks for your consent again.
• Delete your data: email support@merme.ai from your account address. We delete your account, calendar data and the notes you own within 30 days and confirm by email.

For meeting participants

If merme was in a meeting you attended, the Host who invited it owns the notes. Ask them for access — or write to us to have your name removed from a transcript.
